OREANDA-NEWS. In the next three or four years, the Russian Federation will have to change the economic model and outline new points of growth. This was announced on December 23 by First Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, Andrey Belousov, at a joint meeting of the State Council and the Council for Strategic Development and National Projects. According to the politician, new measures for the development of the country’s economy will give an additional increase in the gross domestic product in the coming years by 1.5–2 percentage points.

On December 18, Belousov said that in 2021, the number of unemployed Russians will be reduced by 1.3 million people.

Before that, the First Deputy Prime Minister held a meeting of an interagency working group on prices for basic products and instructed to monitor the cost of socially important goods on a daily basis.
