OREANDA-NEWS. Even after the end of the pandemic of the coronavirus infection COVID-19, the world is unlikely to be able to return to the previous “freedom.” This was stated by Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov during an interview with RBC news agency.

“I do not expect such freedom that existed until now. There will be some measures based on conclusions from the current situation,” the diplomat said. Lavrov expressed confidence that the lifting of restrictions imposed to counteract the spread of COVID-19 will take place gradually and the restoration of world relations in all spheres of activity will take a long time. “The vast majority of analysts agree that even when all threats are completely removed… all restrictions are lifted, all vaccines are approved… nevertheless, there will be no more such an absolutely free communication system that existed before,” the Minister explained.

According to Lavrov, measures to ensure security will be taken, in particular, in transport sphere. However, the Minister does not expect imposing very tough restrictions. In particular, he said he does not expect the introduction of exit visas in Russia.
