OREANDA-NEWS. Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova advised the United States authorities to begin to call to account those involved in misinformation about the coronavirus pandemic with The New York Times.

“The US Secretary of State threatened to prosecute all those involved in the misinformation about the pandemic. Start with The New York Times. Publication “Putin’s Long War against American Science” is a masterpiece misinformation material,” the diplomat wrote on Facebook.

Earlier, The New York Times published an article authored by William J. Broad, in which he accused Russian President Vladimir Putin of involvement in spreading false information about deadly diseases and attacks on important public institutions.
