OREANDA-NEWS. Russian Foreign Ministry’s Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova commented on the hearing of the case of the crash of MH17 in eastern Ukraine in 2014.

“Now, when the first hearing had taken place, a validity of our assessments has been confirmed. …Excitement, far from decreasing, continued to be fueled by a number of Western politicians, investigators, prosecutors, etc. The unceremonious line of behavior of the prosecution side, which openly accelerates the consideration of this case and requires giving as soon as possible a formal sanction for imposed single version of what happened, drew attention to it,” she said.

“I would like to recall that Russia is not a party to the lawsuit. Moreover, allegations of our country’s involvement in the disaster have no foundation, they are based on dubious sources,” the Foreign Ministry’s official added.
