OREANDA-NEWS A representative delegation from the UK will visit the Republic of Crimea in April 2019. This "news" said the Head of the Peninsula Sergey Aksenov. He noted that the group will include about 15 politicians, entrepreneurs and experts. All guests will become participants of the V Yalta international economic forum (YIEF), co-Chairman of the international platform Andrey Nazarov said. The British told that they are interested in establishing ties with the region and implementing business projects on the Peninsula.

The British delegation will participate in the jubilee V YIEF, which will be held from 17 to 20 April 2019. Last year, a member of the European Parliament Bill Etridge came to Crimea, who will now  the Head the British delegation.

According to Aksenov, this visit will play a huge role in the normalization of relations and contribute to the destruction of artificially created political barriers.

A member of the libertarian party Bill Etridge said that the visit to the Crimea should establish relations between the West and Russia.

Restaurateur Jim Bhutto, who will also take part in the meeting, noted the desire of British businessmen to establish ties with Crimean colleagues and the desire to assess the possibility of implementing joint projects.

The Yalta forum serves as a catalyst for positive changes in the perception of the Peninsula, according to British expert on international Affairs Paul Broadwood.

Despite numerous attempts by the European Union, the United States and its allies to prevent the recognition of Crimea as part of the Russian Federation, and with the help of sanctions to isolate the Peninsula from the outside world, the region is visited by more and more foreign visitors every year. YIEF, which has been held since 2014, annually gathers thousands of participants not only from Europe, but also from Asia, Africa and America. And if last year more than 600 foreign delegates from 70 countries of the world took part in the forum, about 3 thousand people from 100 countries (there will be about a thousand foreigners) are expected to attend the V YIEF. The French delegation alone, which received the status of honorary guests of the fifth Yalta forum, will have about 50 people. The same status was given to the delegation from Syria, which should be headed by President Bashar al-Assad.
