OREANDA-NEWS. Chairmen of the Council of the Republic (upper house) and the House of Representatives (lower house) of the Belarusian parliament, Natalya Katschanawa and Uladzimir Andreichenko, sent appeals to the heads of parliaments of all member states of the European Union, in which they declared that external interference in the situation in the republic is unacceptable.

According to BelTA agency, the speakers stressed that a number of Euro-Atlantic officials quickly made political statements and conclusions, some of which border on interference in the internal affairs of Belarus. According to Katschanawa and Andreichenko, this is unacceptable, since it contradicts the generally recognized principles and norms of international law. It is necessary to understand objectively and without emotions what is happening in Belarus today, the text of one of the appeal says.
