OREANDA-NEWS. Anton Korynevych, the representative of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in Crimea, spoke about country’s inability to return the peninsula to the jurisdiction of Kiev.

According to TASS news agency, he made this statement replying to the question of the Ukrainian journalist about the development of a scenario for the return of the Crimea. The politician noted that Kiev will not be able to organize the functioning of public authorities on the peninsula even if Russia gives voluntary consent to the transfer of territory. “Now, if the aggressor, the Russian Federation, leaves Crimea tomorrow, the Ukrainian state is not ready for this,” Korynevych concluded noting that Kiev authorities have much to do in this sphere.
