OREANDA-NEWS. Kiev's efforts to reclaim Crimea are in vain, no matter who is doing it. This position was voiced by RIA Novosti State Duma deputy from Crimea Dmitry Belik.

Earlier, the ex-Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Pavel Klimkin criticized the strategy of de-occupation of the peninsula adopted on the eve and called it a fundamental mistake to transfer the preparation of the project to the Cabinet of Ministers. According to the former minister, the NSDC should deal with this.

Belik told RIA Novosti: "The Maidan was the fundamental mistake of the country, and not the transfer of powers to the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine. But for Klimkin, admitting this fact is unacceptable, because in fact he is the same putschist, like Turchinov and Yatsenyuk."

The State Duma deputy is sure that Klimkin has lost his place in politics and is now trying to restore it with the help of loud statements.

Belik said that "the Crimeans are not going to 'de-occupy themselves' and do not need the services of the Ukrainian authorities."

The Russian parliamentarian also noted that since 2014, Ukrainian politicians have not understood what government means, and Crimea for them is just an excuse for internal intrigue.
