OREANDA-NEWS. On January 4, the incumbent US President Donald Trump will travel to the Georgia State to participate in the “victory rally.” The public schedule of the head of state was distributed by the White House press service; the document was posted on Twitter by CNN reporter Daniel Dale.

“The President will depart the White House at 6:10 PM [11:10 UTC] for a victory rally in Dalton, GA,” the message reads. It does not clarify what kind of victory Trump plans to celebrate.

On January 5, Georgia will host the second round of elections to the Senate, the results of which will determine who will control the upper house of the US Congress, Democrats or Republicans.

Trump previously informed that he would travel to Georgia on Monday to speak at a rally in support of running Republican senators David Perdue and Kelly Loeffler. In addition, the President has repeatedly stated that he himself won the presidential election in Georgia.
