OREANDA-NEWS. US President Donald Trump claimed that despite the COVID-19 pandemic, it is unacceptable to introduce a nationwide isolation regime in the United States.

The politician referred to data on deaths from influenza in the country. “Flu season is coming up! Many people every year, sometimes over 100,000, and despite the Vaccine, die from the Flu. Are we going to close down our Country? No, we have learned to live with it, just like we are learning to live with Covid, in most populations far less lethal!!!” Trump wrote on his Twitter page on October 6.

Earlier, Trump, who was discharged from the medical center Walter Reed, where he was treated with the diagnosis of coronavirus infection, said that he was feeling well and urged the Americans not to be afraid of the virus. “I learned so much about coronavirus. And one thing that’s for certain. Don’t let it dominate you. Don’t be afraid of it. You’re gonna beat it. We have the best medical equipment. We have the best medicines – all developed recently,” the US President said.
