Trump Threatened China with Serious Consequences for the Spread of Coronavirus
OREANDA-NEWS. China will pay for the spread of the coronavirus infection, US President Donald Trump said in a video message from the White House published on Twitter on October 7.
“It wasn’t your fault that this happened. It was China’s fault. And China’s going to pay a big price for what they’ve done to this country. China is going to pay a big price for what they’ve done to the world. This was China’s fault. Just remember that,” the American leader said.
In September, Trump, during a speech at the UN General Assembly, called for bringing China to justice for the spread of the coronavirus of a new type. The American President accused Beijing of banning travel within the country in the early days of the epidemic, but not canceling international flights, which caused massive infection with COVID-19.
Trump has repeatedly reiterated that he considers China to be responsible for the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic, and called this the reason for his growing anger towards China. Beijing denies these allegations.
