OREANDA-NEWS. Ukraine should ask for help from Russia in the fight against coronavirus. This was stated by Verkhovna Rada deputy Vadim Rabinovich on the air of TV channel NewsOne.

“I think we should turn to Russia for help. There is nothing shameful here: when it touches upon people’s lives, this must be done,” he said. According to the politician, now Kiev must stop hoping for its strategic partners and realize that Ukraine is left “face to face with misfortune.”

Rabinovich noted that Russia is providing assistance to Italy, which was among the countries imposing sanctions against Moscow. “But, as for us, only communist China helps us.”

According to the latest data, 145 cases of the COVID-19 infection were registered in Ukraine. Five people died from the complications caused by a disease. One patient recovered.
