OREANDA-NEWS. On January 29, the United States has expanded anti-Russian sanctions. According to the website of the Department of the Treasury, the blacklist includes eight citizens of the Russian Federation and one company.

Restrictive measures were introduced against the acting head of Sevastopol Mikhail Razvozhaev, chairman of the Sevastopol Legislative Assembly Vladimir Nemtsev, head of the Council of Ministers of Crimea Yuri Gotsanyuk, member of the Federation Council from Sevastopol Ekaterina Altabaeva, head of the Sevastopol Election Commission Sergei Danilenko, his deputy Lidia Basova, and the secretary of the Commission Ekaterina Pyrkova.

A day before, they were included in the sanctions list by the Council of the European Union. It was clarified that this is due to the holding of elections on September 8, 2019 in the Crimea.

In addition, the United States listed the carrier company Grand Service Express and its CEO Alexander Ganov.
