OREANDA-NEWS. The conflict in Donbass and the return of Crimea to Russia became a "war in Europe." This was stated by Volodymyr Zelenskyy at a summit with the leaders of Poland, Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia.

Zelensky's speech was broadcast on the Facebook page of the President's office of Ukraine.

Zelensky said: "I want to thank you for your attention to Ukraine. International partners support Ukraine, our territorial integrity, our sovereignty. I am grateful to you all. Today it is very important. It is very important that we are together."

The head of Ukraine also called those killed during the protests in Kiev in 2014 "fighters for independence" and linked those events with what is happening in Donbass.

In the West, statements about the "Russian threat" are often heard. Russia has repeatedly responded to this by saying that Moscow is not going to attack anyone, and allegedly NATO uses "aggression" as an excuse to deploy more military equipment near the Russian borders.

According to Vladimir Putin, Moscow's accusations of aggression are "an invention of those who want to profit from their role as the vanguard of Russia's struggle, to receive some bonuses and preferences for this."
