OREANDA-NEWS. Russian President Vladimir Putin and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in a telephone conversation expressed their mutual disposition to strengthen coordination in the fight against the spread of coronavirus. This was reported on Monday in the Kremlin press service.

"Some topical issues of bilateral cooperation were discussed", the report says. "Mutual attitude was expressed to strengthen coordination in countering the spread of coronavirus infection". Vladimir Putin also congratulated Benjamin Netanyahu on the upcoming Passover holiday. It's noted that in the conversation, which was initiated by the Israeli side, an agreement was reached on contacts between the two countries at different levels. 

In addition, the parties agreed to strengthen coordination in the fight against the coronavirus threat.
