OREANDA-NEWS. Russian President Vladimir Putin called the situation with emergency housing the main problem point in the central regions of the country. The President promised that the authorities will work in this direction.

He expressed this opinion on Tuesday at a meeting with the governor of the Tula region Alexey Dyumin, in which representatives of the local community took part together with the head of the region. Dyumin raised the problem of dilapidated housing during the conversation.

"Indeed, one of the topics that you have just touched upon is traditionally acute. But this has been the situation for emergency housing for decades. This is probably the most problematic point for the central regions of the country, where it is necessary to deal with this systematically,"- the president said.

Putin promised that the authorities will work in this direction. As for other issues that Dyumin raised, in particular, the eastern bypass of Tula, sewage treatment plants, ambulance, the creation of a special economic zone, then, according to Putin, he has all the relevant documents. "They will definitely be sent to the government with the relevant resolutions,"- he assured.
