OREANDA-NEWSIn April, the presentation of the special economic zone "Lipetsk" took place in Moscow. The event was held in the framework of a direct dialogue between the leadership of the Lipetsk region and the American Chamber of Commerce.

The delegation of the Lipetsk region included heads of regional departments responsible for investor relations, representatives of the Lipetsk Special Economic Zone and top managers of projects for residents of the industrial site. From the American Chamber of Commerce, more than 15 member companies participated in the meeting. Anticipating the presentation, the President of the American Chamber of Commerce, Alexis Rodzianko, noted the favorable investment climate of the Lipetsk region for foreign companies. 

Acting Head of the Administration of the Lipetsk Region, Igor Artamonov, during the meeting, stressed that the unique multi-level investment attraction system created in the region was recognized as one of the most effective in Russia. One of the most successful economic zones in Russia and Europe is the Lipetsk SEZ. 64 residents are registered here from 16 countries with a declared investment of more than € 2.7 billion. Regional-type special economic zones, industrial parks, technology parks, and industrial clusters are also successfully operating in the region.

Heads of companies-residents of the Lipetsk SEZ (among them, Vice President and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Honeywell in Russia and the countries of the Customs Union, Leonid Sorokin, and General Director of Lem Weston Belaya Dacha LLC, Irina Shatskaya) shared their experience in successfully implementing investment projects in the industrial site. The President of the American Chamber of Commerce, Alexis Rodzianko, noted the high interest of the Lipetsk region authorities in the development of business interaction, as well as the coordinated and highly professional work of the team of the regional leader.
