OREANDA-NEWS Russian and American border guards have signed a plan for cooperation in the field of border security of the two countries for 2020, the press service of the border control of the FSB of Russia in the eastern Arctic region reports.
Earlier it was reported that from August 5 to 9, talks were held in Kamchatka with the leadership of the FSB Directorate of the FSB of Russia on the eastern Arctic region and the 17th area of the US Coast Guard. The American delegation was led by the commander of the 17th US Coast Guard District, Vice Admiral Matthew T. Bell, Jr.
"Based on the results of the meeting, a plan of coordinated actions of the FSB FSB forces in the eastern Arctic region and the 17th US Coast Guard region for 2020 was signed," the report said.
