OREANDA-NEWSFull transition to distance education in Russia is impossible. This conclusion was reached by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation.

"More than 60% of university teachers have not acquired sufficient skills for distance work," RIA Novosti informed with reference to the report of the Ministry. It is noted that only 14% of students are completely satisfied with the lessons remotely. At the same time 40% of students are sure that education in the university is disconnected from real life and from the requirements of the labor market.

It is reported that there is no plans for the transition to public distance education, this format was an emergency measure during the spread of coronavirus, but the demand and supply of "distance" has increased, said the head of the State Duma Committee on Education and Science, Vyacheslav Nikonov. He added that these emergency measures are allowed pupils and students to complete the school year.

Earlier, distance education portals were opened for students because of the coronavirus pandemic. In Moscow, the Moscow region and St. Petersburg have provided access to an online platform "Digital College " reports the Dni.ru agency.
