OREANDA-NEWS The Polish authorities have plans to expand into Ukraine. Warsaw uses Russia's actions as a pretext, said Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova, her words are quoted by RIA Novosti.

“It cannot be ruled out that Warsaw is hatching plans for a “creeping expansion” into the territory of a neighboring state. At least the facts speak of this,” she said.

Some time ago, Zakharova commented on the words of Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki about the need for Norway to share windfall profits from gas and oil with other countries, in particular with Ukraine. According to her, the Polish leadership already considers Kyiv's income to be its own.

Earlier, the assistant to the President of the Russian Federation, the head of the Russian delegation at the talks with Ukraine, Vladimir Medinsky, said that Poland, at the first opportunity, would “bite off” its western territories from Ukraine.

A similar opinion was expressed by the deputy head of the military-civilian administration of the Kherson region Kirill Stremousov. In his opinion, Ukraine will not be preserved within the existing borders, its collapse is inevitable. The western part of the country can go to Poland.
