OREANDA-NEWS. Vedomosti newspaper reported with reference to a copy of the list of fundamental enterprises that it was expanded three times by the Russian government. Its authenticity was confirmed by a federal official, as well as employees of three companies included in the list.

The past list included almost 200 entities, they account for 70 % of total national income, and more than 20 % of the country’s population are employed in them. The new list includes 600 companies. Neither the Ministry of Economic Development, nor the representative of Deputy Prime Minister Andrey Belousov, who heads the government commission on economic policy, commented on the principles of a new list to journalists.

It is known that it includes airlines (Rossiya, S7, Utair and others), food chains (Vkusvill, Auchan and others), as well as chains selling non-food products (IKEA, Sportmaster, Leroy Merlin East, M. Video). In addition, the new list includes McDonald’s, Burger Rus (Russian legal entity of Burger King) and Gloria Jeans.
