OREANDA-NEWS. Approximately 20 ships of the Ukrainian Navy located in two bays of Sevastopol, which came under Russian control in 2014, will be transferred to the lake Donuzlav, where the Crimean Naval Base is now deployed.

This was reported to TASS news agency by a source in the power structures of the Southern Federal District. According to him, these plans are related to the desire to reduce the cost of maintaining Ukrainian vessels.

TASS does not have official confirmation of this information.

After the reunification of Crimea with Russia, more than 30 ships of the Ukrainian Navy remained in the ports of the peninsula. Moscow has repeatedly offered Kiev to take them, but has not received an answer.
