This will happen after all the divisions in this region receive S-400 anti-aircraft missile systems on combat duty.

“The Arctic will be covered from any means of an air attack by the enemy, be it aviation, cruise or ballistic missiles”, Moiseyev said. He added that, in resolving security issues, sailors “continue to actively explore and explore the Arctic”, create military infrastructure there, including high-tech lighting systems that operate in the air, on water and under water.

As for the plans for next year, Moiseyev assured that the fleet personnel will continue to participate in the development of new weapons and equipment, and test programs for the latest ships. “Another area of ​​our activity is environmental safety and cleaning up the Arctic territories from garbage left there from Soviet times”, added the Vice Admiral.
