OREANDA-NEWSA trade agreement between the US and China is a mine for international trade, which will lead to an increase in trade disputes from 2021-2022. This opinion was expressed by Assistant to the President of Russia Maxim Oreshkin in an interview with the Russian television channel following the results of the World Economic Forum in Davos.

"We see that now the same Europeans have a reaction to the US-Chinese deal, where the Chinese commit themselves to increase purchases of American goods, causes very serious concerns", said Oreshkin.  According to him, the contract itself doesn't cause concern. However, a number of questions remain. For example, by what principle will the Chinese switch from European products to American products, will these be market principles or will additional barriers appear for European products.

"That is, this is such a big slowed-down mine over this whole situation, and I think in 2020 it certainly will not explode, but starting from 2021-2022 we will see in the triangle of the USA - China - Europe with the inclusion of other countries a lot of controversy", he added.
