OREANDA-NEWSOnline sales in Russia over the three days of Black Friday (November 29 - December 1) increased by almost 30%, to 22.3 billion rubles from 17.4 billion rubles over the same period last year. This was reported to the Russian media by the president of the Association of Internet-trading companies Artem Sokolov.

"The total turnover of shares on the Internet broke last year’s record. According to our estimates, the Russians made online purchases in the amount of 22.3 billion rubles against 17.4 billion in 2018", he said. The greatest demand, noted Sokolov, enjoyed electronics and household appliances. At the same time, the number of popular categories included not only smartphones and gadgets, but also hotel reservations and food delivery.

Black Friday has already won the trust of Russians, almost all age groups of the population are quite actively participating in the action, the most active are youth from 25 to 34 years old (25% of the audience). Interestingly, discounts were more interesting for men than for women. The regions accounted for 65% of the audience, which once again proves that "Black Friday" has taken root in Russia", concluded the president of the Association.
