OREANDA-NEWS As part of the Safe City project, CCTV cameras will be installed in five parks of Kazan. The cameras will appear in the Komsomolskoye Lake parks in the village of Derbyshki, the Said-Galiev and Dubrava parks, in the Hermitage garden and on Lake Lebyazhye. This was told by the head of the Office of Information Technology and Communications Rifat Hannanov.

“It is also planned to equip the safety passports of Petrov’s and Tinchurin’s parks,” the speaker said.

At the moment, 419 surveillance cameras are installed in 33 parks and squares of the city. Over the past year, with the help of video surveillance systems, Kazan uncovered 1,200 crimes and revealed more than 600 administrative offenses.
