OREANDA-NEWS. Slovenian authorities announced the end of the coronavirus epidemic in the country, which was admitted on March 12. In other European countries, the epidemic is considered to continue. At present, in Slovenia 1464 cases of COVID-19 have been identified, 103 people died, 267 patients recovered.

“Today in Slovenia, the most favorable epidemiological situation in Europe is developing, which allows us to announce the end of the epidemic,” Prime Minister Janez Jansa said. The politician clarified that some restrictions would remain in effect as long as the threat of the spread of coronavirus remains. Residents of Slovenia must wear medical masks in public places, maintain a social distance; large meetings cannot be held. At the same time, from May 18, restrictions on the work of non-food stores, restaurants and other enterprises in the service sector are lifted.
