OREANDA-NEWS The EMERCOM plane brought 33 Russian children from Baghdad to Moscow, whose mothers are in an Iraqi prison because of their participation in terrorist organizations.

According to the children's ombudsman, Anna Kuznetsova, work on the return of minor citizens of the Russian Federation is scheduled for completion in August. On board, equipped with medical modules, children were accompanied by rescuers, pediatricians and psychologists.

This is not the first operation to evacuate Russian minors from Iraq. In total, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, 90 underage Russians managed to be returned from Iraq to their homeland. According to the children's ombudsman, Anna Kuznetsova, the mission is planned to be completed this August.
