OREANDA-NEWS. According to Natalya Pshenichnaya, serving as the Deputy Director for Clinical and Analytical Work of the Central Research Institute of Epidemiology of Rospotrebnadzor, in Russia the stage of stabilizing the epidemic situation with coronavirus infection may begin in early days of November, but only on condition that all sanitary safety measures are strictly observed by the citizens.

She predicts that in the first ten days of November, the process of stabilization of the epidemic situation may begin, and after it a gradual decrease in the growth of morbidity will follow. But everything depends on the consciousness of citizens and on their willingness to comply with doctors' orders. All residents of the country are repeatedly asked to observe preventive measures strictly and urgently and take good care of their health. But inspite of all the recommendations, a number of Russians just ignore these requirements, and they are awfully careless about their health and the health of people around them.

Natalia added that the country is now in a phase of continuous growth in the incidence rate and may be approaching its peak. However, it seems to her that even at the very peak of the incidence, Russia will not exceed the mark of 20 thousand new cases of the disease per day.

She adds that, unfortunately, despite the fact that schoolchildren do not go to school, and some of the workers have switched to remote work, the increase in the incidence continues. Restrictive measures will not immediately show an effect, even with strict adherence. At least one incubation period must pass, and it equals 14 days. According to Natalya Pshenichnaya, now they are detecting those who have become ill over the past two weeks.
