OREANDA-NEWS. The distribution of illegal migrants who entered Germany through Belarus and Poland will begin in early November. As stated on Monday, October 25, the official representative of the Berlin Federal Police Department, work in this direction is in preparation. The police work in cooperation with the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees, which will distribute migrants who have passed the initial registration to federal lands.

All of them are currently in a camp in Eisenhuttenstadt. The data of refugees is being checked there, a coronavirus test is being done and they are being supplied with food and basic necessities. The Minister of the Interior of the Federal State of Brandenburg, Michael Stubgen, has reached an agreement with the head of the Federal Interior Ministry, Horst Seehofer, on unloading the camp.

Since August, Germany has seen an avalanche-like increase in the number of illegal migrants arriving from Poland. In August, 713 people illegally arrived in Germany were found at the German-Polish border, 474 of them through Belarus. In September, the number of illegal entries through Poland increased to 2,323 people, of which in 1903 - through Belarus. By October 21, the number of illegal migrants who arrived in Germany via the Belarusian route in 2021 amounted to 6,162 people. In the last 2 days alone, about 500 migrants have crossed the Polish-German border in search of asylum.
