OREANDA-NEWSThe government ordered to temporarily suspend the import of imported fuel into Russia in order to ensure energy security and stabilize the situation on the domestic market.

The measure is valid until October 1, 2020, follows from the decree signed by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin. "To establish from the date of entry into force of this resolution until October 1, 2020 a temporary ban on the import of types of fuel into the Russian Federation according to the list", the document says. The list includes, in particular, motor gasoline, diesel fuel, jet fuel, marine fuel and gas oils.

Until July 15, 2020, the duration of the decision may be changed, the document says.
