OREANDA-NEWS. As the press service of the Primorye government reported on November 27, quoted by TASS agency, the governor of the Primorsky Territory, Oleg Kozhemyako, demanded that the mayor of Vladivostok dismiss Irina Pan, head of the administrative-territorial administration of the Russkiy Island. He said that the reason for her resignation was the failure to take measures to help the population during the elimination of the consequences of the emergency.

As Kozhemyako said during an appeal to the head of Vladivostok Oleg Gumenyuk, Irina Pan did not cope with her duties, the authorities did not see any work at the scene of the emergency. During a week, during a repeated visit to the Russian Island, the governor of Primorsky Krai and his team never saw her, did not hear a single word of gratitude from the population for the work rendered. By the decision of the Committee for Emergency Situations for failure to take measures to provide assistance to the population, the governor asks to remove the head of the administrative-territorial department from work, and also asks to bring her to justice.

As specified in the release of the press service, now the deputy head of Vladivostok will ensure that people receive all the necessary support. As explained in the press service of the mayor's office, this has already been dealt with by the deputy head of the city administration Maxim Akulshin. They also confirmed the dismissal of the head of the administrative-territorial department of the Frunzensky district, which includes the Russky Island, Irina Pan.

On Friday, additional field kitchens will be installed on the island by order of the head of the region. Residents of remote villages will be given 150 gas stoves, five new power generators will be installed and fuel will be delivered.
