OREANDA-NEWS. Over the past two months, the Fedresurs portal has made seven statements by counterparties of TD Intertorg regarding its intention to file a bankruptcy petition with the court. TD Intertorg is the operating company SPAR North-West, the largest franchisee of Dutch food retailer SPAR by the number of franchisees. A part of the submitted applications was declared insolvent, as the companies had not yet filed an arbitration with a claim for debt recovery.

From January to early December 2019, the company acts as a defendant in 207 arbitration cases in the amount of 2.9 billion rubles. For comparison, in 2018 there were only 58 such cases, and the amount of claims amounted to 378.6 million rubles.

Among those who applied to the court with a request for debt collection are the largest companies in Russia, from manufacturers of vegetable, meat and dairy products to suppliers of soft drinks and cigarettes. One of the latter was announced by Heineken, a brewing company.
