OREANDA-NEWS. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation has notified of the possibility for vaccinated foreigners to receive a QR code. This was announced to RIA Novosti by the Ambassador of Slovenia to the Russian Federation Branko Rakovec.

Earlier, the head of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation Mikhail Murashko said that foreigners working in Russia will be able to get vaccinated with the single-component Sputnik Light vaccine. The headquarters on Sunday informed that a total of 68 thousand foreign citizens were vaccinated against coronavirus infection in Moscow.

"Last week, we received a note from the Russian Foreign Ministry stating that obtaining a QR code is already possible. All the embassy staff are familiar with the note, and it depends on each individual whether he or she wants to apply for the code," the ambassador said.

According to him, many employees of the Slovenian Embassy in Russia have already been vaccinated, but there are those who are still hesitant to get vaccinated. "We have a principle: if you have been ill or not. That is, those who have antibodies do not get vaccinated, while others have already been vaccinated .... I think we will all actively begin to resolve the issue in order to maintain health. Most of us very responsible. But there are those who are afraid of vaccination, "the ambassador added.

In Moscow, from June 28, only citizens who were vaccinated against the coronavirus, had been ill with it no more than six months ago, or people with a negative PCR test, can attend catering establishments and public events with a population of more than 500 people. Visitors must confirm this status using a special QR code. Similar restrictions have been introduced in the Moscow region.
