OREANDA-NEWS. As reported in the order of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation, which was published on Wednesday on the their official Internet portal, patients with positive tests for coronavirus have the right to be treated at home if they do not live in a dormitory, communal apartment and if they have the opportunity to stay in a separate room during the period of treatment.

The official report says that medical care for a patient with a positive test result for COVID-19 can be provided at home, while the following conditions are met: the patient does not live in a dormitory, communal apartment, with people over 65 years old, with people suffering from chronic bronchopulmonary diseases, cardiovascular and endocrine system; and most importantly, the patient has the opportunity to be in a separate room.

At the same time, it is very important not to self-medicate, not to look for advice on the Internet and not to do, as friends and relatives do, but strictly follow the instructions of the attending physician.

Also, the patient must strictly follow all the doctor's prescriptions during the entire period of treatment. According to an official document published by the Ministry of Health, it is recommended to prescribe treatment to a patient taking into account temporary guidelines for the prevention and treatment of COVID-19.
