This was announced by Rear Admiral Vyacheslav Sytnik, deputy head of the Russian Center for the Reconciliation of Opposing Sides in Syria.

According to him, the incident occurred at 15:45 on December 29 while “ensuring the security of the withdrawal of the Turkish observation post near ​​the settlement of Trumba in the southeastern part of the Idlib de-escalation zone.” “The armoured personnel carrier of the Russian military police… was fired from the anti-tank missile complex from the territory under the control of the pro-Turkish bandit formations. As a result of the missile hit the armoured personnel carrier, three Russian servicemen were slightly injured. […] Nothing threatens the health of the servicemen,” Sytnik said.

Later, the terrorist organization Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham, banned in Russia, claimed responsibility for the attack on Russian military.
