Three Russian Military Were Wounded in Syria
OREANDA-NEWS. Three Russian military police officers were slightly injured when militants fired on armoured personnel carriers in the Idlib de-escalation zone in Syria. This was announced by Rear Admiral Vyacheslav Sytnik, deputy head of the Russian Center for the Reconciliation of Opposing Sides in Syria.
According to him, the incident occurred at 15:45 on December 29 while “ensuring the security of the withdrawal of the Turkish observation post near the settlement of Trumba in the southeastern part of the Idlib de-escalation zone.” “The armoured personnel carrier of the Russian military police… was fired from the anti-tank missile complex from the territory under the control of the pro-Turkish bandit formations. As a result of the missile hit the armoured personnel carrier, three Russian servicemen were slightly injured. […] Nothing threatens the health of the servicemen,” Sytnik said.Later, the terrorist organization Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham, banned in Russia, claimed responsibility for the attack on Russian military.
