OREANDA-NEWS. The Ukrainian authorities expelled two Russian citizens detained the day before by the police.

This was announced by the Department of Strategic Investigations of the National Police of Ukraine. “On July 8, operatives of the Strategic Investigations Department together with employees of the State Migration Service of Ukraine forcibly expelled two citizens of the Russian Federation outside the country,” the statement on the agency’s Telegram channel says.

On July 7, the Ukrainian police reported that during conducting a special operation in Kiev, two Russians were detained on suspicion of planning crimes. According to the police, they allegedly “arrived to commit a number of serious crimes to destabilize the situation in Ukraine.” Law enforcement agencies claim that they worked for the special services of Russia and participated in military conflicts in different countries.
