OREANDA-NEWS The Armed Forces of Ukraine have begun preparations for the clearance of positions and the breakthrough of the front in the Donbass. Sources of the "WarGonzo" project reported that they noticed a column of ten UR-77 self-propelled mine-clearing installations, which are called "urks" or "Gorynychs", and four Hummer cars accompanying them between Mariupol and Shirokino.

"Such installations are used to clear minefields and prepare corridors for armored vehicles to pass through them. This is done with an obvious goal — a breakthrough of the front," the Telegram channel "WarGonzo" notes.

According to the author of the message, the Ukrainian military are either planning to strike the Donbass from the south, or are trying to distract attention from the main direction of the offensive in this way.

Eyewitnesses of the transfer of installations near Shirokino said that there were foreign specialists in the cars accompanying them.

It is worth noting that the DPR authorities have not yet reported the appearance of the UR-77 in the Donbass or the concentration of Ukrainian units near Shirokino.

Earlier it became known that the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) have a shortage of fuel and ammunition. This was stated by Colonel-General Igor Kolesnik. According to him, the Ukrainian army is experiencing a serious shortage of body armor, helmets, fuel and many types of ammunition. Kolesnik expressed hope for the help of the West in solving this problem.
