OREANDA-NEWS. The American and Romanian military conducted joint firing from multiple rocket launchers at targets in the Black Sea. Two M142 High Mobility Artillery Rocket Systems (HIMARS) were transferred from Ramstein Air Base in Germany and immediately after the firing departed. This is stated in a message published on the portal DVIDS, associated with the US Defense Department.

US forces in Europe received HIMARS about three months ago and demonstrated their combat use for the second time. Two installations and crews were transferred to Romania on the aircraft C-130 Hercules.

According to Forbes, the shooting was a clear message to Moscow. “The U.S. Army in Europe has restored its long-range firepower. And it wants the Russians to know,” the publication reads.
