OREANDA-NEWS. A delegation of experts from the World Health Organization (WHO) will arrive in China on January 14 to find out the origin of COVID-19. This is said in a statement by the National Health Commission of the People’s Republic of China.

“A group of international experts from WHO, investigating the causes of the origin of COVID-19, will arrive in China on January 14 to conduct research,” the agency reported. A source told news agency RIA Novosti that the team includes representatives from Australia, Denmark, Germany, Great Britain, Japan, the Netherlands, Qatar, Russia, the United States, and Vietnam.

For the first time, cases of coronavirus infection were registered in December 2019. At the moment, the number of people infected with COVID-19 in the world has reached 90 million people. The leaders in the number of infected people are the United States (22.2 million), India (10.4 million), and Brazil (8 million).
