OREANDA-NEWS. Information about missile attack on the Gabala District from the territory of Armenia is false. “The announcement of the Azerbaijani side on Armenia’s alleged launching of ballistic missiles in the direction of Gabala and Kurdamir is utter nonsense and a cynic lie. No missile has been fired from the territory of the Republic of Armenia in the direction of Azerbaijan,” Shushan Stepanyan, press secretary of the Armenian Defense Ministry, wrote on her Facebook page.

On the morning of October 22, the press service of the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry reported on a Telegram channel that Armenia fired three missiles in the direction of the Siyazan District, two missiles in the direction of Gabala District and one missile in the direction of the Kurdamir District. The Ministry considers that the target of the Armenian Armed Forces was the civilian population and infrastructure. As a result of the attack, no one was killed, the agency added.
