OREANDA-NEWS A Taiwanese computer equipment manufacturing company is suspending its activities in Russia due to the conflict in Ukraine. This is stated in the message published on the official website of the manufacturer. It expresses the hope that peace will be restored soon.

«Acer strictly adheres to the applicable laws and regulations of international trade and closely monitors the conflict between Russia and Ukraine. Due to recent events, Acer has decided to suspend its business in Russia», the message says. The company added that they are thinking about the victims and are working with several international agencies and NGOs to provide humanitarian assistance.

Earlier it became known that the departure from Russia was announced by the software developer EPAM Systems Inc. It will cease its activities in the Russian Federation within three months. Two days earlier, Intel announced the suspension of work in Russia, and in mid–March, another Taiwanese computer manufacturer, Asus, announced the closure of the business. At the beginning of March, Nvidia, the manufacturer of video cards, refused to sell its products to Russia.
