Google's new app wants you to think like a scientist - CNET
By drawing on things like your phone's light sensor, microphone or accelerometer, Science Journal not only records findings, but helps with prediction models on future tests.
The tech giant also partnered up with California-based, "public learning laboratory" Exploratorium to design kits to accompany the new app. These kits include things like inexpensive sensors and microcontrollers, and some can even be built with regular craft materials.
Science Journal is part of Google's Making & Science initiative. The app is currently available on the Google Play store.
