OREANDA-NEWS. Only 1 week left for B2B startups to apply for the very first startup accelerator in Latvia, which is founded by Startup Wise Guys (SWG) in partnership with Latvian leading telco company Lattelecom. The accelerator will offer not only high quality mentoring program and curriculum, but also 20k euro investment. Since the program launch on June 1st nearly 100 startups have applied from all over the world. As expected, the majority of applications are from Latvia, Baltics and closer region, however, there are applicants also from Chile, Nigeria, USA and Turkey. Young enterprises from Ukraine have been surprisingly active there are 9 applications from this country.

“In September we want to start working with 8 startups that are real champions ready to work hard and being passionate about their business. Normally numbers are booming in the last week of application, so we predict that we will have a pool of 200 young enterprises to choose from. However, we invite B2B startups not to leave application for the last minute the program will be a blast, join the #BalticMafia now,” says Cristobal Alonso, SWG Global CEO.

B2B industry is very ample and applications to the accelerator is a real proof of that: e commerce, big data, media and advertising, mobile, enterprise software and virtual reality are only a couple of examples of the businesses that might be coming to Riga for acceleration program.

“SWG Riga powered by Lattelecom” application deadline is July 31st. Top 20 applicants will be chosen for selection days with in person interviews and mentoring. Only the best 8 will get the chance to go through 3 months long accelerator program with access to top notch international mentors, investors and alumni companies, strong curriculum and modern co working premises.
