OREANDA-NEWS. Wombat Security Technologies (Wombat), the leading provider of cyber security awareness and training solutions that change employee behavior, today announced the opening of a U.K. office to satisfy the growing European and international demand for the company's solutions.

This international expansion comes after a significant global product update, featuring the most fully featured and effective security awareness and training solution for multinational companies. Wombat's Security Education Platform currently features knowledge assessments, mock attacks, and interactive training modules that are available in more than 25 languages. All of Wombat's translated material are done through third party, in-country native speakers which are validated in context post translation.

"We have been using Wombat for over a year now and one of the reasons we chose to go with them was not just because we felt the product offered more than their competitors technically, but also because the user education experience had the edge with tone, pace and multinational options," said Lesley Marjoribanks, Customer Security Manager at the Royal Bank of Scotland.

"Multinational companies are looking for ways to provide comprehensive cyber security training and education to all of their employees, in all of their offices," said Colin McTrusty, Sales Director, EMEA at Wombat. "With our presence in Europe, multinationals can rely on one highly effective and engaging security training solution to help reach all of their employees, not just a fraction."

"We believe it is critical for us to have a strong European presence as the demand for our security solutions continues to increase in this area, and around the globe," said Ralph Massaro, Vice President of Worldwide Sales at Wombat. "The new European office will allow us to expand our sales and customer service teams and continue to provide Wombat's industry leading support to our international customers."

Headquartered in Pennsylvania in the US, Wombat has been a cornerstone of the security awareness and training community since 2008. The company also has US offices in Colorado and Virginia, and was recently named a finalist in the Red Herring Global 100.
