OREANDA-NEWS. The first vice-speaker of the Crimean parliament, Yefim Fiks, commented on an interview with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on the topic of Crimea. The politician invited the Ukrainian leader to visit the Crimean detention centers, where he will be provided with the best cell.

As reported by the State TV and Radio Broadcasting Company "Tavrida" on the air of "Russia 1" and "Russia 24", the vice-speaker stressed that everyone who comes "without a stone in his bosom and aggression" is welcome in Crimea.

"If they want to see what our pre-trial detention centers look like, then let them come, we will gladly accept and provide them with the best cells that we have for their untimely use. Whoever comes to us with a sword will die by the sword," he said. Fix in an interview with RIA Novosti.

We will remind, earlier Zelensky announced his readiness to visit Crimea after the "de-occupation". He expressed confidence that the republic would allegedly "gladly accept the Ukrainian authorities", since the Crimeans do not consider themselves Russian.

At the same time, the results of the VTsIOM poll conducted earlier in Crimea indicate that 93% of Crimeans positively assess reunification with Russia in 2014.

Russia was critical of Zelensky's statements. So, the deputy head of the State Duma committee on international affairs Natalya Poklonskaya accused Zelensky of a lack of political courage.
