OREANDA-NEWS. Russia and China must explain to the United States that they should no longer interfere in the internal affairs of other countries. Writes about this Global Times.

The author of the article points to the upcoming joint exercises between Moscow and Beijing at the Qingtongxia training ground, which, as noted by the Western media, are associated with the withdrawal of American troops from Afghanistan and have both political and tactical goals. However, the material notes that the maneuvers are not directed against someone in particular and are common.

At the same time, if one draws parallels between the exercises and the situation in Afghanistan, then, according to the author, it is necessary to assess the struggle against the "three forces" in the region: terrorism, extremism and separatism. Because confronting them is the mission of China, Russia and the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, the article says.

Drawing attention to the concerns of the West, the author points out that it was Washington who created chaos in Afghanistan after the withdrawal of its troops. In addition, the United States is creating a lot of problems around Beijing and Moscow, he adds.

"We should also remember that the United States may try to drive a wedge in Central Asia, which will threaten Russian-Chinese relations or even the unity and cohesion of the SCO," writes the Global Times.

In his opinion, Russia and China should be explained to the overseas partners spreading chaos that they should no longer interfere in intraregional affairs.

The Russian-Chinese joint exercises "Interaction - 2021" with the participation of about 10 thousand people will be held in mid-August.
