OREANDA-NEWS. According to the press service of the Russian government, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin signed an order to include radio electronics in the list of priority export products.

It was decided to maintain the export of such products as a priority at the highest level, so that Russia could strengthen the position of domestic radio electronics in the world market.

The plans for the development of the export of domestic electronics are outlined for ten years ahead. Promotion of the products of the Russian radio-electronic industry to the world market is provided for by the industry development strategy until 2030. The government developed it on behalf of Russian President Vladimir Putin and approved it in January 2020.

One of the main goals for the development of the electronics industry for the next ten years is a 2.5-fold increase in revenue for goods of this kind, as well as an almost three-fold increase in the export of these products. As the Cabinet of Ministers specifies, this is supposed to be achieved through the development of scientific and technical potential, optimization and re-equipment of production, the launch of new industrial technologies, as well as improving the regulatory framework and training highly qualified personnel.

The preparatory stage for the development of the Russian electronics industry was held in the spring of this year. In March, Mishustin devoted a special meeting to the development of domestic electronics with the participation of specialized deputy prime ministers and ministers. He urged to focus on three components: investment, import substitution and creating comfortable conditions, including benefits and preferences, for market participants.
