OREANDA-NEWS  The representatives of the opposition Tinatin Bokuchava, Elena Khoshtaria, Lela Keburia, Khatuna Samnidze, Ana Natsvlshvili took the place of the parliament speaker and they hung the flags of Georgia and the European Union on the platform. They demand the resignation of the government from the rostrum.

Before breaking into parliament, journalists from opposition TV channels made a joint statement, stressing that they were going to continue protests demanding the resignation of the government headed by Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili. The reason for this was the death of TV Pirveli cameraman Lekso Lashkarava, who died on the sixth day after being brutally beaten during the filming of the March of Dignity opponents rally on July 5. The demonstrators believe that the authorities should be held accountable for failing to protect their citizens during the riots.
