OREANDA-NEWS. The security forces came to the office of the public organization «Open Russia», founded by the former oligarch, and a critic of the Kremlin Mikhail Khodorkovsky, on Friday, March 19, said executive director of the organization Andrey Pivovarov in interview with Russian «MBH media».

«We can see from the cameras, that the police are walking there. The cameras were turned off, the office was a mess. We know, that they are there. For what reason, it is still unknown», he said.

The coordinator of the organization, Tatyana Usmanova, told «RBC», that there are no employees in the office at the moment. «We have just looked at the cameras — there is absolutely a search going on there. The lights are on, you can see the feet of some people in civilian clothes, so someone is walking there. Now our colleagues will get there and tell us more information», she said.

Earlier, there were reports, that the security forces came to the editorial office of «MBH Media». It is not yet known whether investigative actions are being carried out on the spot, and what they are related to. Yesterday «Roskomnadzor» demanded Twitter to block the account of «MBH Media», saying that the resource was included by the Ministry of Justice in the register of prohibited information. In 2020, searches in the editorial office of «MBH Media» took place on July 9 and September 9. The investigation was related to the 2003 Yukos case.
